About Me

Born and raised in Bangkok, I'm a Thai native with a passion for cross-cultural communication and language education. Since 2019, I've been helping hundreds of learners around the world gain a deeper understanding of the Thai language and culture through my online classes and social media content under the name Thai with Sarah.

I hold a BA in English (linguistics and literature) from Chulalongkorn University, with a double minor in Spanish and Portuguese. I later earned an MA in Intercultural and International Communication from Royal Roads University in Victoria, Canada. To support my teaching and language background, I also completed a TESOL/TEFL certification in Toronto and a Court-Judicial-Legal Interpreter program in Vancouver.

Today, I divide my time between creating Thai-language content online and teaching 20–25 private sessions a week. My students range from complete beginners to advanced learners, and I love helping each of them speak, read, and truly connect with the Thai language — in a way that's practical, fun, and deeply rooted in real cultural understanding.

Why SARAH?

I'm a native Thai speaker with over 5 years of experience teaching Thai in live online classes. I understand the challenges learners face — because I've heard every kind of question you can imagine from my students. I ask a lot of questions myself, which helps me anticipate yours and explain things clearly from a learner's perspective.

What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex elements in the language and cultural nuances into simple, digestible explanations — especially for students with ADHD or those who need a little extra time. At the same time, I work just as well with fast learners in private sessions, always adjusting the pace and content so you get the most out of every class.

I'm not just here to present lessons — I'm here to support you, cheer you on, and make sure you stay motivated. My goal is for you to speak Thai naturally and confidently, with correct pronunciation and a deeper understanding of how Thai people really use the language.

Unlike most Thai teachers, I wasn't trained by or employed by any Thai language schools. My teaching style is completely my own — shaped by how I learned English and how I've observed Thai in everyday life. That means no one-size-fits-all approach — just real, intuitive, results-driven teaching tailored to you.
